The Live Forum: Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, the Ties and Opportunity, Thursday, October 13, 2022, 2:30 - 3:30 pm EST

Join Equitable Infrastructure Group|Partners for a timely discussion on the ties between two of the most historic Economic Investment Acts aimed at strategic growth sectors, U.S. energy, and the climate crisis.  The discussion will also include how the top firms are approaching procurement.  Early registration ends on September 30th.

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) &  Inflation Reduction Action of 2022 (IRA)

The enacted $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure Act is a Once in a Generation Opportunity.  Ten months in, over $110 billion has been announced and headed to states, tribes, territories, and local governments, with over 4,300 specific projects identified for funding.  Thousands more projects will be added in the coming months.

By signing the $369 billion Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, the Act aims to confront the climate crisis, recognize communities of color disproportionately impacted by climate change, lower costs, advance environmental justice while building a cleaner future, and grow the economy.

The Questions: new

Who will benefit?

How are the Acts evaluated  and delivered? How the top infrastructure players are approaching procurement?

What does effective implementation look like?

Why millions of firms are on the brink of missing the opportunity inherent in these vehicles for climate action and economic recovery?

The Discussion:

  • Overview and impact of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022

  • Effective implementation of the IRA  and ties to the Infrastructure Plan

  • The phasing in of the $110 billion, 4,300 plus infrastructure investment “shovel ready” projects new

  • Leveraging Opportunities for Small Businesses and MWBEs
